I made this page to share a creative idea.

As part of our monthly fellowship one of the things we’ll be focusing on is consistency and finishing our projects. One way I’m hoping to motivate the tribe is through encouraging the keeping of a Makers Journal.

In the fellowship I will be emailing out these pre-designed pages to fill in.

But you could just get yourself an A4 journal, cover it with one of your embroidered fabrics and then start keeping a record of what you made.

Each “Journal Entry” has a project name, date it was finished, who it was made for and a description.

I printed out a photo of the projects and glued it to the front of my journal page. Then filled out the details.

I chose an A4 sized notebook which has a hand embroidered cover on it for keeping the journal entries.

I decided to cut around the scalloped edges to make it more interesting and then glued them into the A4 notebook.

I’m already imagining that my journal will be delighted over by my great grand children! What a wonderful legacy to leave behind!

The projects that we make over our lifetime will be given away, maybe sold, maybe lost! But keeping a journal like this will make them eternal and treasured.

I hope you find this inspiring!

Now I know you clicked that button in the email because you weren’t interested in the fellowship…. buuuuuttttt just in case that curious cat inside you wants to click another button, here it is…
