Herringbone Stitch Masterclass

An in depth immersion workshop giving students the expertise in using the Herringbone Stitch which allows for fast, large scale filling of any shape and results in beautifully textured work. Students will be able to solid fill leaves, petals and stems quickly and create textured, bold and colourful pieces that make an impact. Kasia also teaches stitches which are complementary to and enhance the Herringbone Stitch. This Masterclass is best for students who have done some embroidery before. Not suitable for absolute beginners.

Materials included in workshop fee:

  • 6 Inch embroidery hoop

  • Panel of high grade linen

  • 2 embroidery needles

  • 6 skeins of DMC stranded cotton

  • pattern

  • instructions ( to continue with at home)

Bonus for masterclass students only:

At the end of the class students will have the opportunity to purchase the brand new “Kirsten” pattern (pictured below) not offered before and not available online. The “Kirsten” pattern is the largest ever offered and done completely in the herringbone stitch which students will have mastered by the end of the one day workshop. This is a great design to immerse yourself into after the masterclass and after finishing your in class pattern. At the end of the class Kasia will give a brief introduction into the “Kirsten” pattern and how to tackle it.

Covid Safety.

  • Kasia is fully vaccinated and all students must also be fully vaccinated by the start of the workshop.

  • Wearing of masks during the workshop is optional, the space is treated in the same way as an indoor cafe as there is food and drink at the table so you may have your mask off, eat and drink while you learn.

  • Students will be asked to sanitise hands upon arrival and to bring their own water bottles.

  • In the event that you are unwell and cannot come to the workshop your fee will be held until the next available workshop and if you’re unable to attend that a credit note will be issued which you may use for future workshops, any products in the online shop or an online course.

  • In the even that Kasia is unable to run the workshop due to illness the workshop will be rescheduled to the earliest available date suitable to all students.
