January 2026
Welcome everyone, woooohoooo!! I might be just mildly excited for our tribe!!!
🥳🎊
(secretly I’m also very nervous, but I won’t admit to it lest it make me look unprofessional.)
This is our very first pattern and I hope it meets your expectations. I have kept it fairly easy and have given you two versions in two colours styles to keep everybody happy.
As this is our first gathering I’ll remind you what to do:

I started with just the small design in the reds, oranges and pinks but then you know… I decided to make another one. A bigger one. One for those of you who have more time and are inclined to stitch it. Or just if you want to save this version for later.
I haven’t yet sewed my finished piece into anything usable but as soon as I do I will upload it here so everything will be easily found in one place. These are the fabrics I dug out that looked good with the thread colours. I’m actually thinking this design would look great on the edge of a pillowcase. But then you know what will happen… once I stitch two pillowcases I will want to make a full matching bed sheet set, haha!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up with as I’ll be adding photos of your finished projects here too.
And here are some fabrics I found that compliment the blue/green version of this pattern. Again, not sure what I’ll make but i will share it as soon as I do.
If you’re tracing your pattern through light coloured fabric, print out this version with the heavier line-work which is easier to see through fabric. Also the line-work here is simplified as you don’t need to trace every single stitch. Where the crosses are is where the star stitches will go. Where the little single lines are coming off the main stem is where the lazy daisies will go.
If you have Stick & Stitch sheets at home this is what you’ll be printing. On this version of the pattern I included extra lines so you can stitch exactly over the top of each line. If you want to buy the Stick & Stitch sheets just paste the below into your Amazon search field:
“New Brothread 24PCS A4 Sticky Water Soluble Embroidery Stabilizer Printable Paper Stabilizer”
Usually you will receive one journal page for each month with a matching design for that month. But to begin with I’ve given you two so you can print several copies of the one on the right and use it for past projects you might want to start documenting.
Here I cut out my journal pages around the scalloped edges and glued them into an A4 sized notebook. I added the project descriptions, date and stuck in a photo.
Below is a space where you can leave comments and questions for me and for each other. I really wanted to stay off social media with this and I hope that this simple space will suffice for us to enjoy and learn.
